This entrance to Coldham's Common needs to be upgraded.
The entrance is currently a swing gate which is extremely diifficult to manage as a cyclist particularly if travelling with a child on the back, as the gate swings dangerously into the rear of the cycle. This route is extremely popular with cyclists and is used at all times of the day and has quite heavy cycle traffic at school and work rush hours. The other two main entrances to the Common (Newmarket road and Coldhams Lane) have excellent bike friendly and cattle friendly openings.
