This cycle crossing links very well with the Barton Road cycle track and the routes across Lammas Land to Fen Causeway and across to the Sheeps Fen bridge.

It is right on peoples' desire line and therefore makes an excellent crossing.

The only criticism is that it is narrow. That criticism applies more to the Barton Road cycle track than the crossing itself.
