A connection has been introduced between the new Longstanton Bypass and the old Over Road. Classified as a footpath and clearly not designed for cyclists (sharp right-angle bends, loose surface) but cyclists are probably the largest user group of this link as it makes it possible to rejoin the old alignment of NCN 51, which is significantly shorter than the new route.
