Photo showing the location of cycle parking at Runcorn Central (Mainline) Station. The photo is taken from underneath the Expressway. (The booking office is to the right of the photo).
It is a wide shot to facilitate identification by way of the new multi-story car park. The lower right quarter of photo can be zoomed to better show the parking facility itself. There is apparently some sort of CCTV camera coverage of the bike parking.
NB. The design intention for the cycle parking units would seem to be for each wheel to be locked onto the unit's securing hoops. However, in order to secure the bike frame to the unit, a long chain would be necessary.
