I think its really helpful to have such a detailed map of the ongoing works at this location - despite the vandalism in the 'comments section' of this sign.
The big red arc next to the river is for pedestrians only, cyclists approaching from the left will have to go along the road to the right of the Elizabeth Way pillars and then turn left through the green area to join the roadway there. That bit of riverside will become a dead-end for cars, so the whole junction which has been quite unsatisfactory could become much better.
