These stands are too close together - 750 mm spacing instead of the recommended minimum of 1.0m. As a result it is difficult to get bikes in or out if the adjacent spaces are occupied.
Here it is only around 60% full but you can see how cycles are already tending to interfere with each other.
The location and stand type are however good, but the stands are too tall, offering poor support, hence the rather untidy appearance, exacerbating interference between bikes. The cross bar on a Sheffield stand should be level with the cross bar on the bike - around 750 mm above ground.
